The Small Bump music video. It wasn’t much. And that’s because when you have an artist with a talent such as Ed’s, you don’t need some elaborate music video with dancing girls and party scenes. You don’t need anything spectacular. Because all your attention is towards Ed and his incredibly harmonic and angelic vocals. The song, the scenario of the music video, was just incredible. It was basically one shot the entire time, and yet it portrayed such a situation as described in the song. He’s clearly upset, and he’s waiting in the hospital waiting room for his wife and his baby, yet his baby didn’t make it. He sits there for a while, as the people pass by, continuing with their lives. More patients come in, and he just sits and waits. And I think that’s why it was so emotional. The song is sad enough, and when you add such a simple yet powerful music video to go along, there are serious waterworks.
